Well, you can tell by the way I use my trump,
I'm a bridging man: no poker chump
Trumping high and trumping low, I've been kicked around since I bid four
And now it'll be tight, but OK.
Just make your bid another way
We can try another hand
I wish I'd tried a different plan.

Whether your declarer or whether you're the dummy,
You're makin' your five' makin' your five
See the trump breakin' and everybody shakin'

Well now, I lead low and I trump high
And if I can't get the bid, I really try
On a bid of seven, only made two
I'm a finessin' man destined to lose
You know it's all right. It's OK
I'll live to play another day
